My Mom was planning on going away on vacation for a few weeks and in the back of my mind I was giving myself until she returned as a departure date from here, that I would stay up until that point she returned from her big Lake getaway, though this morning was annoying enough that I wanted to wander off for the rest of the afternoon, possibly in the direction of Vermont so I could see where Phish used to hang out before I totally collapsed in an alley somewhere.

At this address there is only one hostile Republican robot rather than whole squads of them, and then of course the television, as devilish as it ever was.

I thought I was following clear instructions to escape Portland before an explosive response to Bad Christmas appeared, and escape is what happened, a little slower than I wanted yet escape nonetheless. I would like to stay escaped.

I went for a walk and looked for remnants of "everything", and found some nice bits amid the snow that happened last night. The Hebrew Academy on Sand Creek is across the street from the VFW Hall and within sight of the First Prize packing plant. The Stewart's is still there and I got a snack. NBC had some humorous intergalactic space pants last night. I had to figure out the science of Gwen Stefani's space shorts. Gwen would probably be faking her space shorts unless she borrowed her shorts from me, is what I was thinking. And I would totally lend her my shorts if she wanted them.

The local ABC news ladies were very friendly and then the computer generated commercial break went back to the normal robotic evil for a minute. Am trying to get the hang of the normals and the thing making normals look bad.

The front page of the Times Union this morning has a cover story about a certain tower somewhere making people argue. I figured I would get a better reception in New York than far away on the west coast where 9/11 was only something they saw on television, and yet bad company lives in this area too it seems. Conversely, the quality time with LL is something I am definitely treasuring today.

I've downloaded a copy of Pinocchio from 1940 to find out what people believed back then about turning from a puppet into a real boy. I should plan my travel around the arriving of my ballot so as to reward the good work of Sarah Silverman. She was correct, billions of dollars have been spent trying to sway my vote, so I should try to actually vote for something this time huh? I can always go die in an alley after that.
