Lay Grady Down

I had an argument with my Mom the other day about how it is I wound up living in a park for much of 2012 and 2013 and 2014. Two days later the big Easter explosion was in a park in Pakistan.

I am here in New York because I fled Portland after receiving many months' worth of warnings that the location was in danger. I was told in fact something akin to World War 3, or whatever number should be associated with that, was about to break out. I arrived here last Monday and the next day was the bombing in Brussels. Trying to replace the ID I lost somehow during the bus ride out here I had to retrieve a copy of my rental agreement in Portland, and when I saw the paperwork there was a tidbit I had forgotten about. In the event of an emergency I had written that they should contact my Mom in New York. In the event of my death I said they should contact NATO in Brussels Belgium. I wonder if the Home Forward employee that kindly sent me the form actually read what I had written on it back on September 11, 2014 when I signed my lease.

Just keeping track. My Mom was doubtful of my stories regarding time and mind and all the wars involved though I think that has changed recently. Today it was relieving to hear someone knowledgeable describe St. Pius X, the Catholic church where I played soccer growing up, as a "Church of Hell" because the Catholics had been fighting their own book and the book's characters for so long in order to maintain their role as simply a Republican lobbying organization. I actually visited the 12:00 pm church services today to drop them a note and generally inspect and I only found one bad guy, some evil dude working the door, while the sermon itself was very nicely encouraging. There are still some good people out there it seems.

I found this picture at my Mom's place. She kept it for some reason.
